About
Researcher working where Earth observation meets machine intelligence.
Remote Sensing & Artificial Intelligence Researcher
Lino received his B.Eng. in Geomatics Engineering from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Surabaya, Indonesia (2011–2015), then earned scholarships in Taiwan for his M.S. (2016–2018) and Ph.D. (2018–2022) at National Cheng Kung University, graduating with seven papers.
He continued as a Post-doctoral Fellow at National Taiwan University and is now an Associate Researcher at the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), Indonesia, at the Research Center for Geoinformatics.
His research spans ocean color and inland water, land-cover change, air pollution and groundwater analysis, hyperspectral & solar-induced fluorescence, atmospheric correction, digital image processing, deep learning, change detection, and Transformers.
